Helping people connect with their authentic career path is a passion and a mission of ours here at Project Creative Vision. So I was both humbled and delighted to be one of a dozen or so initial recipients of the Dig Your Job Blogger Award hand-picked by JobDig's GL Hoffman
GL has been on a similar mission for a while. In fact, his blog, What Would Dad Say, has just celebrated a major milestone - a million - a million! - hits. As GL says:
Our kicker text—"Because everyone should dig their job"—is a noble goal we have here at the company, and by affiliation, if not attitude, here at this blog. We believe that everyone wants to dig their job.
Indeed - even if sometimes wanting to dig your job feels almost... subversive. "Dig my job? Isn't work supposed to be about pain and suffering?" Um, no. Believe it or not, when it comes to deciding whether you want your work to feel like a labor of love or the daily grind, the choice is yours.
I'm excited to be part of a community that cares about how we live our work lives. One of the new blogs I've already discovered in the process is a fellow "Dig Your Job" Award recipient, Brain Based Business. Enjoy the read - and here's to all of us digging our jobs!
