Seth Godin writes in his mind-broadening "Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us" that each and every one of us is a member of a tribe, and we each have responsibility to lead this tribe in one way or another. He says that lasting and substantive change can only be effected by a tribe - a group of like-minded individuals who share the same vision, are connected to each other, and are committed to their cause or idea.
I absolutely love his analogy. We are living in a world where authority conferred by the powers-that-be matters less and less. Internet has given us incredible power to connect to one another and become part of a larger movement.
